Step 1:

Click on Register .

Step 2:

Fill up necessary details like Name, Username, Email Address, Contact Number, Label Name/Artist Name.

Step 3:

Select your plan.

Step 4:

Create Password (it should have atleast 8 characters using Capital Letters, Small Letters, Numbers and Symbols).

Step 5:

Click on Register. It will redirect you to dashboard of Fret Digital if you had selected free plan.

For paid plans, please make a payment after clicking on register button. You have a various option for payment (Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, etc.)

Step 6:

After successful registration our team will contact you in 1-2 business days for further procedure.

Within the sixty (60) days following the end of each calendar quarter, Fret Digital will make available to you in your Personal Account a statement of the Benefits of digital distribution and the Benefits of synchronization obtained by Fret Digital during said quarter, the deductions that said Benefits of digital distribution and the Benefits of the synchronization performed and the net amount of said Benefits of digital distribution and Synchronization Benefits to be paid to you. If the net amount of said Benefits for digital distribution and Benefits for synchronization that is owed to you exceeds one hundred Euros (100 Euros), you can send a payment request through your personal Account and Fret Digital will pay you by bank transfer of the following way: payment requests received before the 14th of each month will be paid on the 15th; Payment requests received after the 14th will be paid on the 30th of that month. Of the amounts not paid to you, the net amount of such Digital Distribution Benefits and Synchronization Benefits that will be paid to you will carry over to the next quarter.

To see your sales reports:

1. Login to your Fret Digital Account
2. Click "Revenue" in the menubar on the side of the page.
3. Then download "Reports" and "Invoice".

We cannot report sales to accounts until the stores have sent us the entire period's sales reporting for all accounts. If there is a delay in a store reporting sales to us, there will be a delay in posting sales to accounts for that store.

Streaming fraud or Artificial Streaming is when an artist uses artificial means to increase their streams.

This is bad. Don't do it.

It's not always obvious that what you're signing up for is fraudulent, such as through "promo" companies who claim that they're creating ads. It's often a scam.

 

Our streaming partners are constantly working to identify and prevent streaming fraud on their platforms. Note that streaming services reserve the right to remove manipulated content from their platforms. An artificial stream is a stream that doesn't reflect genuine user listening intent, including any instance of attempting to manipulate Spotify by using automated processes (bots or scripts).

We put significant engineering resources and research into detecting, mitigating, and removing artificial streaming activity on Spotify so that nothing stands in the way of our mission of giving artists the opportunity to live off their art, and so that rights holders are paid as fairly as possible for their work. The integrity of this is incredibly important to us because an illegitimate stream means there are honest, hard-working artists on the other side that are impacted.

 

If you're caught committing streaming fraud, your music will likely be removed from streaming services and you won't get paid. You may also receive a warning from Fret Digital and/or your Fret Digital account will be closed.

Sometimes, streaming-fraud stems not from an artist being malicious--but from purchasing a shady marketing campaign. If you're planning on running promotional campaigns for your music, please do your research and only work with reputable companies. There are many so-called marketing companies that appear legit but actually use bots and other shady methods to artificially increase streams. This almost always ends badly.
